What the site is

• A place of learning
• A collection of information
• A place to ask questions and have them answered in a variety of ways
• A user directed learning environment
• The site is being set up to provide help in IT and photography. Greater effort will be put into areas that a user has indicated that help is needed.
• A place to learn from each other.
• A synergy of effort. I have found that people who actively participate in a learning environment set off a learning wave. A comment made by one person may be just the catalyst for another to gain an insight in a topic.
• Your Site
• In a sense this is your site. As a member you have control of what content you want. The site then, will be flexible and changing.

What the site isn’t

• Instant feedback
• At this stage at least, the site will not supply instance solutions to your queries. Much effort will be made to reply quickly to a query, and most times there will be a quick response. However such will not be guarantee by the site. A question may require the development of a training tutorial or lesson and this in itself may take some time to produce.
• solutions to problems that require the devleopment of a computer program or code are not considered covered by the memership fee. If such a solution is needed then it will incur more costs.

Site Ideals

All comments made by members on the site, particularly in the forum, will be treated with respect and courtesy. The authors consider that no question is a stupid one, and that encouraging questions, no matter how trivial they may seem, will create a learning quest. All users are asked to respect this ideal and attempt to always encourage the participation by other users.
